About Me

Blacktop Basketball Camp
I am a product of Hoosier Hysteria. In school, basketball was a way to break the ice when a new person moved in and it was how we got to know people. In 8th grade, I was the point guard and 3rd highest scorer on my team. In high school, I tried to play basketball, but God told me, "No." I said, "Why not?" He said, "You'll see." In college, basketball was an open door for me to witness to people (in pick-up games; God still said I was done with organized playing). It was beautiful. Now, a group of us are using basketball to reach out to children living in Evansville's inner-city. This is our story.
